Refund Policy

Last Updated: August 7, 2026

At AccurixBooks, we are committed to providing professional, accurate, and reliable bookkeeping, tax preparation, LLC formation, compliance, and business support services. Because our services involve professional time, expertise, preparation, and work performed specifically for each client, this Refund Policy is designed to establish clear and fair expectations regarding payments and refunds.

1. Service Fees

Service fees are based on the type, scope, complexity, and requirements of the services requested.

Before work begins, AccurixBooks may provide the client with a description of the services, applicable fees, and any relevant terms.

By purchasing a service, the client acknowledges and agrees to the applicable service fees and this Refund Policy.

2. Refunds for Services

Because AccurixBooks provides professional services that may require time and work to be performed specifically for each client, fees for work that has already been performed are generally non-refundable.

If a client requests cancellation before work has started, the client may be eligible for a full or partial refund, depending on whether AccurixBooks has already performed preparation, research, administrative work, consultation, or other activities related to the requested service.

Any refund will be determined based on the work already completed and any costs already incurred.

3. Work Already Performed

No refund will generally be provided for services that have already been completed or for work that has already been substantially performed.

This may include, but is not limited to:

  • Monthly bookkeeping services already performed
  • Bookkeeping cleanup or catch-up work
  • Account setup or financial organization
  • Financial record review
  • Tax preparation or tax-related work already performed
  • LLC formation preparation
  • LLC compliance services
  • Annual report preparation or filing
  • EIN assistance
  • Consulting or training sessions already provided
  • Research and advisory services
  • Administrative work performed on behalf of the client
  • Documents or forms prepared for the client
  • Work submitted to a government agency or third-party provider

4. Government, State, and Third-Party Fees

Government filing fees, state fees, registered agent fees, payment processing fees, and other third-party charges are generally non-refundable once they have been paid or incurred.

This may include fees charged by state authorities, government agencies, registered agents, filing services, or other third-party providers.

AccurixBooks is not responsible for refunding fees charged by government agencies or third-party service providers.

If a third party provides a refund, that refund will be handled according to the third party’s applicable policies.

5. Monthly Bookkeeping Services

For recurring or monthly bookkeeping services, clients may request cancellation of future services by providing written notice before the next billing period begins.

Cancellation of a recurring service does not automatically result in a refund for:

  • Services already performed
  • The current billing period in which work has already started
  • Work already scheduled or completed
  • Third-party costs already incurred

Once a new billing period has started and work has commenced, fees for that period are generally non-refundable.

6. Client Information and Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and timely information necessary to perform the requested services.

AccurixBooks is not responsible for delays, additional work, errors, penalties, or other issues resulting from:

  • Incomplete information
  • Incorrect information
  • Missing documents
  • Late submission of documents
  • Failure to respond to requests for information
  • Changes in the client’s circumstances
  • Information that was not disclosed to AccurixBooks

If additional work is required because of incomplete or inaccurate information or because the scope of the original service changes, additional fees may apply.

7. Changes to the Scope of Services

If a client requests work beyond the original scope of the service purchased, AccurixBooks may charge additional fees.

Additional work may include, for example:

  • Additional bookkeeping periods
  • Significant bookkeeping cleanup
  • Additional transactions
  • Additional tax forms or filings
  • Additional state filings
  • Additional compliance requirements
  • Additional consultations
  • Corrections caused by previously undisclosed information

Whenever reasonably possible, AccurixBooks will communicate additional fees before performing significant additional work.

8. Service Concerns

AccurixBooks values client satisfaction.

If you are dissatisfied with a service or believe that a service has not been provided as agreed, please contact us as soon as possible.

We will review the circumstances and make reasonable efforts to understand the issue and determine an appropriate solution.

Depending on the circumstances, a resolution may include clarification, correction of an issue, completion of outstanding work, or, where appropriate, a partial or full refund.

9. Refund Requests

Refund requests must be submitted in writing.

Please include:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Service purchased
  • Date of purchase
  • Amount paid
  • Reason for the refund request
  • Any relevant supporting information

Refund requests can be submitted through the Contact page or by email at:

karim@accurixbooks.com

Submitting a refund request does not guarantee that a refund will be approved.

Each request will be reviewed based on the circumstances, the work already performed, the applicable service terms, and any costs already incurred.

10. Approved Refunds

If a refund is approved, it will generally be issued to the original payment method used for the transaction.

Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment processor, bank, or financial institution.

AccurixBooks is not responsible for delays caused by banks, card issuers, or payment processors after a refund has been processed.

11. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with a bank or payment provider, clients are encouraged to contact AccurixBooks at karim@accurixbooks.com so that we can review and attempt to resolve the issue directly.

Unauthorized or improper chargebacks may be disputed using relevant transaction records, service agreements, communications, and documentation showing the services provided.

12. No Guarantee of Government or Third-Party Approval

AccurixBooks may assist clients with tax preparation, LLC formation, compliance, filings, and other business-related services.

However, approval, processing times, decisions, or requirements imposed by government agencies, tax authorities, states, registered agents, or other third parties are outside AccurixBooks’ control.

Fees are generally not refundable solely because a government agency or third party:

  • Delays processing
  • Requests additional information
  • Rejects a filing
  • Changes its requirements
  • Makes a decision different from the client’s expectations

13. Policy Updates

AccurixBooks may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in its services, business practices, payment procedures, or applicable requirements.

The most recent version will be published on this page and will include the applicable Last Updated date.
